Fast-growing sports nutrition, health and wellness brand, Applied Nutrition, has secured planning permission from Knowsley Council for a new 84,000 sq ft global distribution centre and corporate headquarters.

Construction聽started this week and will increase the company鈥檚 total operational footprint to over聽204,000聽sq聽ft.

Fitness enthusiast Thomas Ryder founded Applied Nutrition in 2014 and floated the business in 2024.

The Liverpool-based business has enjoyed a period of record-breaking year of growth and Coleen Rooney recently increased her shareholding in the company.

The new distribution centre and corporate headquarters has been designed to support accelerating demand across both UK and international markets.

As well as acting as Applied Nutrition鈥檚 central global distribution hub, it will also act as the company鈥檚 new headquarters.

In February, Applied Nutrition updated its full year forecasts for 2026 after performing significantly ahead of management expectations.

Revenues increased 57 per cent to 拢74.5m for the six months to the end of January 2026 (up from 拢47.6m on H1 FY25).

EBITDA for the period was also 鈥榓head of management expectations鈥.

The group entered the January peak health, fitness and wellbeing period with retail orders and resultant customer stock levels 鈥榮ignificantly above expectations鈥.

Applied Nutrition鈥檚 market cap stands at 拢585m.
