Clothes2order.com invests 拢250,000 in growth

Manchester-based Clothes2order.com has made a six-figure聽investment into its growth investing in new聽machinery and 20 new production jobs.

The move takes the company, which is located in Trafford Park, to a total of聽140 staff.

It will now also add new embroidery and vinyl printing machines to its offering as well as upgrading current direct-to-garment printing equipment.

Managing director Sam Jones said: 鈥淭he extra capacity and staff numbers enable us to keep pace with the rapid increase in demand we are experiencing.

鈥淚t took a decade for the business to produce one million logos, and now we are printing or embroidering over a million designs each year.

鈥淲e鈥檙e seeing especially strong growth for workwear, in sectors such as hospitality, construction and leisure. Demand for embroidery on caps is also buoyant.

鈥淲e are continually investing in the latest equipment to ensure we remain at the forefront of the industry in terms of speed, flexibility, quality and colour vibrancy.鈥

With clients in over 35 countries the company prints and embroiders logos and designs onto t-shirts, polo shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, caps and more.

Clients range from small firms and charities to household names such as Google, Coca-Cola, Mercedes-Benz, Microsoft and Kellogg鈥檚.

The figure takes the firm鈥檚 total investment over the past four years to 拢1.5m.

The fastest-growing part of Quayside Group, Clothes2order is on track to achieve record turnover of more than 拢12m for 2017, up from 拢10.7m last year.
