Cloud and cybersecurity services provider METCLOUD is expanding its presence in Birmingham, with plans to create up to 100 skilled jobs.
The business, which has taken up the entire fifth floor of Lyndon House, says its strategic growth drive follows a series of major contract and partnership wins.
These include a deal to provide cybersecurity services to specialist defence manufacturing firm NMS UK, which recently invested in a new facility in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire which will focus on manufacturing protected patrol vehicles for the UK defence industry and for international export.聽
It has also formed strategic partnerships with complementary cybersecurity providers, including Birmingham headquartered CyberQ Group.聽
The expansion could enable METCLOUD to increase its presence in key sectors, including defence, critical national infrastructure, government, health, finance and insurance.
The West Midlands Growth Company supported METCLOUD鈥檚 expansion by providing dedicated sector-focused consultancy and PR support, to help the business raise its profile in the local marketplace.聽
METCLOUD has also participated in London & Partners鈥 Grow Global programme, which has supported the business in growing its international presence and accessing new growth 辞辫辫辞谤迟耻苍颈迟颈别蝉.听
