Winning a Digital Entrepreneur Award last year vindicated the lofty ambitions of The Whisky Exchange.
Originally established as an online whisky merchant in 1999, The Whisky Exchange has grown to become a drinks specialist employing around 120 staff.
At the time of entering the awards in 2015 their website traffic had increased by 49 per cent and sales were up 18 per cent on the previous year.
And with a turnover of 拢40m, it is a company which is really going places.
鈥淲e proved that we were more than a drinks company with a small target audience,鈥 managing director Sukhinder Singh said of the DEA win.
鈥淲e are a business with a vision and ambitions to grow.
鈥淭he award has given the team confidence to achieve more.鈥
The Whisky Exchange carried off the small e-commerce business of the year award.
