DEA win showcased Mubaloo to advertising giant

Technology

Mubaloo鈥檚 role in saving lives through innovative technology was recognised at last year鈥檚 Digital Entrepreneur Awards.

And the mobile consultancy and app developer, which carried off the Best Use of Mobile Technology gong, has gone from strength to strength since.

Founded in 2009, Mubaloo now employs more than 50 staff in offices in London and Bristol.

It was their work with London鈥檚 Air Ambulance (LAA) that led to their DEA success.

They created the Dispatch app that has helped to improve the emergency response process.

Kimberley MacSymon, head of marketing at Mubaloo, says: 鈥淚t means so much to have the work we have done and the amazing work LAA does recognised by this award.

鈥淭here really is no better way to help to explain the impact mobile can have in helping to transform the way people do their jobs.鈥

Since winning the award, Mubaloo has been acquired by IPG Mediabrands to provide end-to-end mobile capabilities and MacSymon says the recognition from the DEAs showcased them as a market leader to IPG Mediabrands.

The DEAs are coming to Manchester鈥檚 Palace Hotel on November 9th.

The awards champion the country鈥檚 finest digital entrepreneurs and businesses and are now in their 12th year, with a total of 17 awards up for grabs.
