Manchester Science Partnerships has welcomed one of the UK鈥檚 most innovative health science businesses to its Manchester Science Park.
MSP has let more than 12,000 sq ft of its flagship Bright Building to聽NorthWest EHealth Limited, the fast-growing provider of data platform technology and services which has outgrown its current base at MSP鈥檚 Citylabs Campus.
NorthWest EHealth will join CityVerve, the UK鈥檚 Internet of Things smart city demonstrator, and Mi-IDEA, MSP and Cisco鈥檚 post accelerator and open innovation centre for fast-growth technology businesses, at the 70,000 sq ft building in the heart of Manchester Science Park when it opens on 21st September.

The Bright Building offers innovative technology companies outstanding physical and digital connectivity. Its design aims to inspire innovation and support collaboration 鈥� features include a communal space for events for up to 200 people, a fitness studio and cafe bar.
It is also located in the heart of Manchester Science Park, part of the Oxford Road Corridor innovation district, where pioneering ideas are brought to life.
North West E-Health has become a world leader for enabling organisations to better connect electronic healthcare data for use in public health and clinical trials.
It was founded in 2008 as a joint venture between Salford Clinical Commissioning Group, The University of Manchester, and Salford Royal Foundation Trust.
Its technology enabled the delivery of pharma giant GSK鈥檚 pioneering Salford Lung Study in 2016, which was the world鈥檚 first digitally enhanced Randomised Controlled Trial.
The company has now grown to employ more than 90 staff across clinical and technical roles; working alongside pharma, academia and the NHS to deliver feasibility, economic modelling, recruitment, real-time safety monitoring, and data analytics to support the whole clinical trial lifecycle.
Recently awarded an international honour for clinical and research excellence, its technology and services are leading the world in the evaluation of healthcare interventions using electronic health records in a real-world setting.

The Bright Building has been part-funded by the North West Evergreen Fund (backed by the European Regional Development Fund), and Greater Manchester Combined Authority.
Eligible businesses moving to the Bright Building before the end of March 2021 may be eligible for a total of 拢275k in business rates relief over a period of five years.
