It looks like your run-of-the-mill watch, but could be the key to keeping you calm and focused in stressful situations.
Using natural biorhythms, Doppel creates a pulse felt on the inside of your wrist like a heartbeat.
The device鈥檚 vibration motor works with your body鈥檚 response rhythm. Its designers claim this can alter how the wearer feels, on demand.
Doppel’s Jack Hooper claims a faster beat makes the user feel more alert, while a slower one relaxes them.
Demonstrating the product at Innovate 2016, he聽told video reporter Aleksis Williams: 鈥淭he way it does that is very similar to the way music can change how you feel.
鈥淎n upbeat song will get you going, a downbeat song will make you feel calm.鈥
Following a Kickstarter campaign, the Doppel watch will launch in early January for financial backers then聽be made available to the general public soon afterwards.
It will retail at approximately 拢143, but there is a discount during the pre-order phase.
