User experience design conference Camp Digital returns to Manchester next May.
The annual event held聽by digital UX agency Sigma is set to welcome 450 guests to the Royal Exchange Theatre on Wednesday 2nd May to discuss the latest trends in digital, design, and UX.
Professor Vikas Shah, chair of FutureEverything, and Dr Sue Black OBE, author of Saving Bletchley Park, are already confirmed as keynote speakers.
Professor Shah, who is also an honorary professor at the Alliance Manchester 老九品茶 School, will be speaking about his work at Thought Economics, as well as the most pressing issues affecting the digital industry.
The talk will include insights gathered from his interviews with some of the world鈥檚 leading thinkers and entrepreneurs, including Sir Richard Branson, Jack Welch, and聽will.i.am.
Dr Black, saviour of WWII codebreaking base Bletchley Park and founder of BCSWomen, will be talking about her inspiring personal journey which took her from being a single parent living on a Brixton council estate to being one of the top 50 European women in tech, an OBE and an appointment to the Government Advisory Body shaping digital services.
Other confirmed speakers so far include: Per Axbom, UX designer & coach; Katy Arnold of the Home Office; Gareth John and Eve Critchley of MIND; Gavin Elliott, DWP; Ella Fitzsimmons, a digital strategist; Molly Watt, an inclusive design and accessibility consultant, and Alastair Duggin of the Government Digital Service.
They will be speaking on a broad range of topics including digital innovation, service design, accessibility, professional progression in the digital industry, and a range of 鈥榯ech for good鈥 topics. More speakers are also set to be announced over the coming weeks.
