Elon Musk has joined the #deleteFacebook movement after taking down the official pages for his Tesla and SpaceX companies.
WhatsApp co-founder Brian Acton sent a tweet in which he called on people to delete their Facebook accounts, to which Musk responded with: “What’s Facebook?”.

The billionaire entrepreneur was then challenged to take down SpaceX and Tesla’s Facebook pages, which had 2.5 million followers each.
Musk claimed that he “didn’t realise” that either brand had a Facebook page and said that both would “be gone soon”.
I didn’t realize there was one. Will do.

Both profiles had disappeared within minutes.
The #deleteFacebook movement emerged after data firm Cambridge Analyica was accused of obtaining personal data belonging to approximately 50 million users without their consent.
