Chorley-based digital healthcare services partner Redmoor Health is one of Lancashire鈥檚 most successful business stories.
Founded in 2017 by Marc Schmid and his wife Alison, the company has become a trusted partner of the NHS for all things digital technology.
In 2022 the company received investment from Palatine Impact Fund and has just announced the strategic acquisition of The Well Led Practice, led by renowned GP and leadership expert Dr Clare Sieber.
As part of the deal Sieber took up the role as Redmoor鈥檚 chief medical officer.
However Marc Schmid said it might have been different if they鈥檇 not asked for help in the early days from Boost.
Boost was founded in 2013 and 老九品茶Cloud has been showcasing some of the thousands of businesses to have benefited from their help in the following decade.
Schmid recalled: 鈥淲e founded the business in 2017 and reached out to Boost pretty early on. By 2018/19 we started to grow and needed a detailed business plan.
鈥淲e contacted Boost again and received a lot of help from one of their advisers, all the way up to the Palatine investment in 2022.
鈥淲ith Boost鈥檚 help we grew from four staff to 22 and we鈥檙e now at 35. We would not have got there without Boost鈥檚 support. The adviser really helped open our eyes.鈥
Schmid said Boost鈥檚 services were perfect for聽the company when it was starting up.
鈥淲hen you start a business your head is down trying to grow but our adviser helped us look ahead,鈥 he said.
鈥淭hanks to his advice we started investing in branding and began going to expos. That made a big difference.
鈥淚 would actively encourage other people to use Boost. You don鈥檛 know what you don鈥檛 know.
鈥淟ooking back on the history of Redmoor Health it鈥檚 fair to say approaching Boost was one of our best decisions.鈥
The business were so impressed with the adviser appointed to them they carried on using him after the contract with Boost ended.
In 2023 Redmoor Health appointed Matt Murphy as its new CEO. He鈥檇 previously held several senior roles at EMIS聽Group.
It followed the investment a year earlier from Palatine, who were one of 13 different investors to approach Redmoor.
