The Institute of Directors has launched a new business hub for its members in Greater Manchester.
The hub is based at Clockwise Manchester at Linley House in the city centre. Built in 1963, Linley House, a former electrical station, has been renovated to create high quality, flexible workspace a short walk from Manchester Piccadilly and Oxford Road stations.
IoD Manchester chair Debbie Black said: 鈥淭he hub is a fantastic addition to our membership offer. It provides drop-in co-working space in an excellent, central location where members can work, hold meetings and get a bite to eat in the onsite caf茅, Two Hands.
鈥淚n 2025 we will be using the hub to hold monthly in-person events to support our members and the wider SME market.鈥�
Black鈥檚 vision for IoD Manchester is taking shape with a series of high-quality and wide-ranging events planned, providing members with the opportunity to benefit from more experienced directors.聽
She said: 鈥淎 common theme when speaking to members is a desire to share or benefit from business information, knowledge and experience. We have that in our membership in abundance and the hub will help us capitalise on this.鈥�

The IoD鈥檚 partnership with Clockwise Manchester is for an initial six months. The hub is open to IoD members, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5.30pm.
