Laundry and dry cleaning app Laundrapp has announced an imminent international launch.

The London-based start-up, which聽last year secured 拢5 million in additional funding to support expansion, will roll its technology out in 15 countries across the world in 2017.

It said deals will be signed this month to licence its tech in Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Turkey, Germany, China, France, Iran, US, UAE, Malaysia and other nations.

The company offers customers an on-demand service by collecting and delivering washing to their door.

鈥淟aundrapp is a technology-driven start-up that has grown in the UK at a rate we didn鈥檛 think possible,鈥 said co-founder and CEO Ed Relf.

鈥淭he success in the UK carved an obvious path to global expansion and licensing our technology has proved the best way for us to reach a global audience.

鈥淚 am thrilled to see how receptive global partners have been to our technology, the industry understands it must innovate to grow and Laundrapp is the perfect technology to reach this new digital savvy millennial market.鈥

Laundrapp was launched two years ago by former Mind Candy CMO Relf with Antony Pink, formerly of Accenture, and Nick Bransby-Williams, formerly of recruitment platform Sooqini.

It was named 鈥楢pp of the Year鈥 by startups.co.uk in 2016.
