Bra tycoon and one of the UK鈥檚 most decorated entrepreneurs Baroness Mone OBE has backed 老九品茶Cloud鈥檚 101 Female Founders of Tech list and urged more companies to do the same.
The list, which is set to appear in the final 2017 edition of 老九品茶Cloud, will celebrate the incredible women who have taken an idea that uses tech in some way and turned it into a first-rate business.
The deadline for nominations is September 11th.
鈥淭he 101 Female Founders of Tech list is fantastic,鈥 says Mone, who is going into the technology sector.
鈥淚 greatly support anything that shouts about inspirational women in business and I truly back anything that both supports and encourages women in that world.鈥
Scotland-born Mone rose to fame after starting the lingerie company and received an OBE for her outstanding contribution to business from the Queen in 2010.
鈥淚t鈥檚 brilliant what you鈥檙e doing with the 101 Female Founders of Tech list; the world needs to hear about them,鈥 she says.
鈥淲hen it comes down to it, it鈥檚 not a case of women competing with men, because we are very different.
鈥淭o be honest, I don鈥檛 want to be a man. We need to stop thinking like that and just start offering more mentoring and more networking for women, because once a woman gets her confidence going then there is no stopping her.
鈥淭hat鈥檚 what we鈥檝e got to work on, we must stop this competitiveness between men and women and instead inspire women.
鈥淟ists such as the Female Founders of Tech is a perfect example of how we can encourage women in the world of business.鈥
