Hugely popular news website Mail Online has appointed Fox News digital editor Noah Kotch as its new editor-in-chief.
Kotch will take over from Martin Clarke in July and report to the website鈥檚 founder from his base in New York.
Clarke will remain as publisher of MailOnline (known as DailyMail.com in the US) and Metro.co.uk while also becoming publisher of newspapers the Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday and Metro.
Kotch founded libertarian news website Heat Street, which folded in August 2017 after just one year, and served as chief content officer of聽media tech website Vocativ.
He also spent five years as a senior producer on NBC鈥檚 popular Today show.

MailOnline, which has newsrooms in London, New York, Los Angeles and Sydney, claims to be the most-read English-language news website in the world with 244 million unique users, 84m of them in the US.
