Manchester-based Trunk has appointed Nick Entwistle as creative director after Adam Britton moved up into the managing director role.
Entwistle, the former creative director at MAGNAFI in Manchester, will work with Britton and the team on creative campaigns that deliver engaging experiences, working across film, animation, gaming, apps and social media.
The duo have known each other since they were two years old, attending the same schools before working together at Big Brand Ideas.
More recently they collaborated on the campaign that led to the NHS Choir beating Justin Bieber to Christmas No. 1.
Trunk models itself as the customer engagement agency for agencies and has produced work for the brands Paddy Power, Unibet & Kwik-Fit, in collaboration with the likes of Lucky Generals, No Brainer and Big Brand Ideas.
Entwistle has worked previously on campaigns for brands including Sofology, Betfred, Vimto, Very.co.uk, Irn Bru, Subway, Vauxhall and Bentley.
He also founded the popular Twitter account @OneMinuteBriefs which promotes brands and causes via social media by challenging their creative community on Twitter to respond to a brief using their creative instincts, and rewards the best ideas. He has just released his second One Minute Briefs book.
