Film, broadcast and digital equipment hire company Pro Motion is expanding its聽Manchester office at The Sharp Project.

The company, who specialises in the operation of digital production equipment, opened its doors 13 years ago in London and 10 years ago in Brighton.

It came to Manchester in 2015 and set up an office in Manchester鈥檚 digital hub The Sharp Project with two people, which has grown with the addition of two dedicated technicians.

After three successful years, Pro Motion has now expanded yet again 鈥 moving from a small office to a studio, still within The Sharp Project.

The new studio allows Pro Motion to work on larger projects, with a dedicated break out area for camera tests and training, along with a direct entrance for loading.

The expansion has seen Jessica Lolliot, who started the Manchester office with Alain Lolliot, promoted to commercial director of the group and Danny Newton has been newly appointed to the role of Manchester bookings manager.

鈥淲e鈥檙e really proud of the work we have achieved since our move to Manchester,鈥 said Jessica Lolliot.

鈥淭he Sharp Project has been a great location for us and we were immediately drawn to the creative atmosphere and excited to collaborate with tenants straight away.

鈥淲e鈥檙e thrilled that The Sharp Project was able to find us a unique space that allowed us to remain a part of this vibrant community whilst being able to facilitate larger projects, training and camera tests.鈥

Since moving to The Sharp Project, Pro Motion has worked in collaboration with many of its tenants including JD Sports PLC, Brickhouse Productions, Doodledo Motion and OneIota.

It has also worked on a number of popular TV shows such as Channel 4鈥檚 The Secret Life of the Zoo, BBC鈥檚 Class Dismissed and MTV鈥檚 Teen Mom.

鈥淧ro Motion is very fitting to the ethos of The Sharp Project 鈥 the work they do is really exciting and it鈥檚 great to be able to talk about all the amazing projects they have been a part of,鈥 said The Sharp Project commercial director Rob Page.

鈥淭heir expansion adds to the success of The Sharp Project and the highlights the room we have for growth and development for all our tenants.鈥

The Sharp Project, based in Newton Heath Manchester, is home to a wide range of digital, web and content creators.
