Purplebricks has expanded into Canada after purchasing DuProprio/ComFree for 拢29.3 million.
Like Purplebricks, DPCF is a commission-free real estate service network.
Solihull-based Purplebricks expanded its North American presence into Las Vegas, Nevada and Phoenix, Arizona last month.
It also has a foothold in California, Connecticut, New Jersey and New York, as well as Australia.
鈥淲e admire Purplebricks for what they have achieved across three continents in just four years,鈥 said DPCF president Marco Dodier.
鈥淲e share their ambition and desire to offer consumers a new and better way to buy and sell property.鈥
Michael Bruce, global chief executive of Purplebricks, said: 鈥淸DPCF鈥檚] model of bringing a range of service packages and support, with access to expertise from coaches to legal professionals, is proving highly attractive to the Canadian public, and has aspects in common with the Purplebricks鈥 model and ethos in the UK, Australia and the US.
鈥淓xpanding the geographical footprint across Canada and building the company鈥檚 buy-side offering provides the potential to transform the size of the DPCF business and consolidate its market leadership.鈥
