The UK鈥檚 digital聽health scene has taken a leap forward as Push Doctor, the UK鈥檚 largest digital health provider, opens the doors of its new Digital Health Campus in Manchester.

As part of its investment, made possible by the largest Series B funding round in Tech North, the company is investing over 拢3 million into the local economy.

The space will be a hub for key figures from health and tech and will be used by organisations of all sizes from across the country in a bid to answer some of the most pressing questions facing healthcare in this and the next century. It will also host regular events in the campus space encompassing all aspects of healthcare.

Push Doctor has grown rapidly from four employees in January 2016 to 118 today and is expected to reach 170 by the end of the year.

As part of a move into new offices to accelerate this growth, the company dedicated one third of the new building to its 鈥榗ampus鈥.

Having pioneered smartphone consultations in the UK Push Doctor will help drive continued innovation by seeking to include a growing range of external healthcare professionals in its mission of helping people enjoy happier, longer lives.

As part of this, the company will hold regular doctor co-working sessions on the future of healthcare as well as invite the latest thinkers from a range of industries to enable collaboration on this global challenge.

Push Doctor is also investing significantly in its own employees, all of whom have unlimited access to the company鈥檚 online GP service, on-site fitness and nutrition specialists and new in-house gymnasium.

Push Doctor鈥檚 team has a unique blend of skills, ranging from engineers, designers, analysts, doctors, pharmacists to nutritionists and personal trainers.

The skills that this team brings allows Push Doctor to target macro health challenges such as primary care and more specifically how those challenges fit within the lifestyle of the 21st century.

With its new 15,000 sq ft offices in the recently redeveloped Arkwright House, Push Doctor is investing in Manchester鈥檚 tech scene, with the city already supporting nearly 65,000 digital jobs.

鈥淎s category leaders we believe that opening this dedicated campus in Manchester will enable us to pull together the expertise needed to collectively answer the questions which will make a real difference to health, and ensure we can deliver our own mission to help people live happier, healthier lives,鈥 said Push Doctor founder and CEO Eren Ozagir.

鈥淭he creation of this new space also represents continued investment in our own team, who have already led some of the most significant innovations in digital health in the UK.

鈥淲e鈥檒l continue to at look at building that team even further by hiring another 60 employees with a range of talents by the end of 2018.鈥

The space was created in collaboration with Workspace Design and TP Bennet.
