Bus operator Stagecoach has聽ploughed 拢6.8m into high-tech public transport in Merseyside and South Lancashire.
The smart-tech double-deckers have free WiFi and USB charging points, and all are equipped with leather seats and audio CCTV.
Eco-friendly, the addition of the buses to the firm鈥檚 Liverpool to Kirby 20 and 21 services will bring total investment in its fleet over the last 18 months to 拢17m.
According to Stagecoach, the investment will result in greater cost-efficiency and sustainability 鈥 thanks to advanced start/stop technology, which cuts down on fuel usage and emissions.
