Talent acquisition platform聽Talent Deck today launches its technology into the UK聽recruitment sector.
The platform removes the need for recruiters, instantly matching tech talent with companies that share the same values and motivations.
The London-based organisation, founded by friends Carl Sautereau and Jason Ali, was created after they grew frustrated with the UK recruitment sector – particularly the lack of focus on matching tech candidates and tech companies based on values and culture.
Recent research conducted by Sapio Research on behalf of Talent Deck found that over half of UK tech developers (53 per cent) have left a company because they did not like the company culture.
Talent Deck鈥檚 new 鈥楥areer DNA鈥 profile aims to shift the lack of focus on culture, allowing candidates and tech companies to find a better match culturally to improve the chances of success in the recruitment process.
Co-founder and chief product officer Jason Ali said: 鈥淲e spend most of our waking moments in life at work, so the atmosphere, culture and environment should be compatible with our personality to make sure we fit in and are more productive.鈥
Talent Deck removes the need for recruiters, allowing candidates to simply fill in their details online 鈥 or autofill their skills from LinkedIn 鈥 before Talent Deck鈥檚 unique algorithm uses this information and the personality match data from the Career DNA profile to match them with appropriate companies.
Carl Sautereau, co-founder and chief operating officer, added: 鈥淔inding meaningful jobs or talented people can be time-consuming as well as expensive and stressful for both sides, but it really doesn鈥檛 need to be like that.
鈥淭he ultimate aim of Talent Deck is to match technology talent to organisations that share the same values and provide an opportunity for them to thrive at a business which shares their key motivations.鈥
Through bypassing the need for recruiters, Sautereau and Ali plan to remove the 鈥渟ubjective bias鈥 they believe currently exists in recruitment, where recruiters can dismiss good candidates based on personal opinions.
Undoubtedly this will cause some upset amongst recruitment agencies.
Ali said: 鈥淚t鈥檚 impossible to get a feel for a company based on a job description and similarly it鈥檚 impossible to understand a candidate鈥檚 personality and motivations from a CV.
鈥淥ur career DNA profile goes beyond this and matches candidates and companies not only based on skills, but what they expect culturally.鈥
Sautereau added: 鈥淲hether it鈥檚 a candidate looking for a flexible work culture or a business looking for talent with strong leadership characteristics, our unique platform ensures each side is paired with a 鈥榖est match鈥 while removing the subjective bias that often occurs when a recruiter is involved in the process.鈥
