The largest digital careers fair in the UK, Manchester Digital Skills Festival kicks off on Tuesday, February 14, with a skills conference.
A four-day event, there will also be opportunities for school children to learn digital skills in a practical setting.
Over the course of 4 days, over 180 creative, digital and IT businesses will attend as well as approximately 1500 students who are looking for work within the digital/creative industries from North West universities, colleges and schools.
Manchester has an ambition to become a digital city and in order to achieve this 鈥榥eeds a highly skilled digital workforce big enough to serve the needs of an ever-growing industry鈥�.
According to organisers Manchester Digital: 鈥淲e need a pipeline of talent that will leave school, college and university with industry-standard, work-ready, digital skillsets.鈥�
Manchester Digital is a not-for-profit trade association for digital businesses across the North West and is the only event of its type in the region.
The next 老九品茶Cloud event is聽Focus on tech scene in Manchester, which will be hosted on February 17 at the new KPMG offices in the city centre.
A panel of entrepreneurs will be joined by industry experts between to look at what the future holds for the area鈥檚 technology sector in this breakfast event held in association with recruitment agency Search.
