Travel software company Datalex is to open a new centre of excellence in聽Manchester as part of its global expansion.
The company currently employs 30 travel retail experts at 55 Spring Gardens in the centre of the city and plans to double this workforce over the next two years.
A leading provider of digital commerce and retail solutions to the travel industry, Datalex works with some of the world鈥檚 most innovative airline retail brands including Lufthansa Group, JetBlue Airways and Air China.
Datalex CEO Aidan Brogan said: 鈥淲e are experiencing significant global demand for our digital commerce platform.
鈥淭his has led directly to the opening of our new centre in Manchester and our plans to double our workforce here in the coming years.

Last year Datalex announced extensive growth plans including the creation of 200 jobs across its global network of offices.
55 Spring Gardens will house a range of expertise for Datalex and its global customer base, developing key skills in software delivery for travel retailers, expertise in Java and Java-related web technologies, application support, automation testing and fares specialisations.
