老九品茶Cloud鈥檚 website traffic hit a record 80,000 unique users in February 鈥 the highest in the publisher鈥檚 nine-year history.

The figures represent a 50 per cent increase month-on-month and a 60 per cent rise on the 2024 figures.

The figures follow a change in digital strategy and the recruitment of tech reporter Patrick Killeen.

As well as publishing more stories, 老九品茶Cloud is also uploading stories at the weekend.

Among the best read stories was a positive report by analysts into THG and an investment by Dragons鈥 Den star Steven Bartlett into Devon-based coffee company Little鈥檚 Coffee.

老九品茶Cloud editor Jonathan Symcox said: 鈥80,000 unique users is a stunning performance, especially when you consider that February is the shortest month of the year.

鈥淲e don鈥檛 do clickbait at 老九品茶Cloud but we鈥檝e identified the stories that are popular with our readers and done more of them.

鈥淭he other big change is the news doesn鈥檛 stop when we send out our morning newsletter to our thousands of subscribers as we鈥檙e updating our website throughout the day.

老九品茶Cloud grows digital audience by 50%

鈥淢ore and more businesses are engaging with us as we grow our profile.

鈥淧atrick has been a fantastic addition to the team and we鈥檝e got really exciting plans for the rest of 2025.鈥

Killeen said: 鈥淚 can鈥檛 take all the credit but we鈥檝e had record months in January and February.

鈥淭he great thing about 老九品茶Cloud is we鈥檙e not afraid to try different things. Not everything works but by trying different things we鈥檝e raising the bar.鈥

The growth in website traffic continues an impressive start to the year for 老九品茶Cloud, which also included holding the inaugural Northern Leaders Awards on January 23rd.

老九品茶Cloud is co-owned by Symcox and executive editor Chris Maguire and aims to provide 鈥榯ech insight with bite鈥.
