老九品茶Cloud has secured the first sponsor for its new 老九品茶.

The podcast will celebrate the lives of the people who are doing the most to improve the region and follows the success of our inaugural聽Northern Leaders list聽and awards ceremony.

The format will see guests interviewed by 老九品茶Cloud鈥檚 executive editor Chris Maguire about what the North means to them, their approach to leadership and their lives and careers.

Manchester-based Wildbrook Commercial Real Estate has agreed to sponsor the first three episodes, which will be launched in May.

鈥淚t鈥檚 so important to celebrate the North and the people聽that make the region the place that it is – and Northern Leaders does聽that.

Guests already confirmed include Matthew Scullion, CEO of Manchester-based unicorn Matillion; former CPS prosecutor Nazir Afzal OBE, who is now the Chancellor of University of Manchester; and Clare Roberts OBE, CEO of Kids Planet.

Maguire, who also co-hosts the hit podcast聽The Dealmaker Uncut聽with award-winning dealmaker Jonathan Boyers, said: 鈥淚鈥檓 delighted to have Wildbrook Commercial Real Estate confirmed as our first sponsor.

鈥淣eil Higson is someone I鈥檝e got a lot of respect for and he鈥檚 one of the people who go above and beyond to make the North a better place.

鈥淔or example, last year he helped save the life of a man who was threatening to jump off a motorway bridge on the M61.

鈥淲e鈥檙e in talks with a lot of other potential sponsors for the podcast and hope to be able to announce more details soon.

The podcasts will be produced by Manchester-based What Media, who have previously worked with Maguire on the Dealmaker Uncut, Northern Spin and The Holiday That Changed My Life podcasts.
